"Overall, I thought the property was beautiful and well kept. Our room was clean although our refrigerator had some issues and was pretty beat up and old and had rust in it. The barbecue was not clean. And I feel for the price point that you could probably use a refresh in the rooms… Getting a little outdated the pool area was nice and well kept the lobby and staff were exceptional. "We haven’t stayed at the lodge in a long time… here are my observations… Pros: The exterior grounds are beautifully maintained. "Owned by descendants of the Gilchrist family who started this last industrial town. The couple was very friendly, helpful and personable. Nice swimming pool. Nice yard games for children to play and adults to enjoy as well."
