"Check in was different, but once we figured it out, it was very easy as well as check-out. It snowed quite a bit (in May) and we were a little concerned about the steep driveway, wasn't a problem. It was plowed and salted before we we needed to leave (early). The room was clean and comfortable. Great alternative to staying in a casino."

"Rhonda was a lovely host. The place is decorated in such a unique way and very clean. The room wasn't huge but it was all the space we needed for our quick stay. We were very happy :) "

"We really enjoyed our stay in this beautifully appointed, cozy and charming studio with an amazing view of the Upper Truckee River! The friendly host welcomed us and provided a helpful tour of the studio. Loved the gorgeous stone floors throughout, contemporary mountain home aesthetic and the convenience of the mini fridge! The heating unit was a tad bit tricky to operate but the host was very responsive and helped us figure it out! We had a great getaway and only wish we had time to stay...

"This is a really cool place. It seems that it was originally some kind of mansion, but restored into a hotel with modern amenities. There is also a shared, fully stocked kitchen. The owners are really nice and accommodating. We only stayed one night, but definitely worth a return trip. "

"My husband was doubtful about booking in the country over a garage but really it was great for us and our small dogs. The place was roomy and Debbie has put a lot of attention to detail. Everything we might want was right there. Including a great view of Mt Shasta and Lassen from the deck. The location might not be for everyone - can’t walk to a cafe - but it was 10 min from downtown Redding and our dogs loved going outside off leash around the building. We would choose it again. "Gorgeous land and buildings. Amazing room. A door on the master bath cabinet in our room had broken hinges and it looked like it had been that way for a while and not repaired. The shower felt a little awkward with no good place to hang your towel while you shower so you could easily get it when you're done. One of the drawers in the master bedroom would not stay closed and would slide open slightly by itself. Overall, an incredible place to stay."

"Langtfra alle værelserne var rengjorte, da vi ankom sidst på eftermiddagen på store afrejsedag søndag. Det lykkes ved en ihærdig indsats receptionisten at fremtrylle et værelse inden for fem minutter. Sengene var gode, der var spa og fladskærmsfjernsyn på begge etager med stor kabel tv-pakke. Der er miniovn og mikroovn men ikke reel mulighed for at lave madboden køkkenet. Til gengæld er der griller på den private strand. De færreste værelser i byggeriet havde udsigt til vandet. Det er en skam....
