"Our stay at Steve's cottage last week was nothing short of magical. The highlight, without a doubt, was the **absolutely spectacular sunset view over Penn Lake, right from the private dock. Winding down each evening watching the sky explode in color over the calm water was an unforgettable experience – a view truly rare to find and worth the trip alone!The lake itself felt alive and welcoming. We loved watching the big fish swimming right under the deck and were charmed daily by a sweet family...

"Great quiet location away from the city. Cute little cottage - enough for a couple. Close to small town of Bala. Only issue was the heat in the living area. Need more heaters and blinds in the living room. "

"The property has everything you need and the host does everything to make your stay as welcoming as possible. You have to be aware the parking is tight but with cooperation from the neighbouring cottage and yourself it works fine. The dock is large and can handle a few boats but the water get shallow pretty fast.( end of dock 5 feet or 1.5M) There are plenty of supplies but we ran short of paper towels and just went and got some. There are some renovations happening now but don't interfere with...

"My family of 5 adults loved staying in this wonderful, spacious home. We were all so comfortable inside with the layout that gave each of us the privacy when we wanted and space for meal prep, dining, board games and hanging out together too. There were more than enough linen and towels.The location is truly minutes from the centre of Gravenhurst and also close to the activities we chose to engage in. "We really enjoyed our family getaway over the Labour Day. The cottage is cute and is a close drive to Bala. It would be have been preferable to be waterfront or have better lake access but the place was clean, the owners were nice and the area is still lovely. "

"Stayed at this cottage for a 3 night getaway. Since the cottage is only 2 years old, everything is new, clean, comfortable and very bright. Great location right on the water, which made it a great spot to watch the boats go by, and spectacular sunsets. Grocery store and Walmart are only 5 minutes away, as are other stores, and restaurants."
