"Close to UT Austin and several restaurants "

"Great location, BUT... the unit needs repair. Upon arriving, we were greeted with a strong musty odor, and standing water along the wall of the apartment where the door and window are situated. The host was responsive, but because it was a holiday, it was a few days before someone could come look at it, but there was no easy fix. It leaked again a few days later before we left. The rotting bottom edge of the front door along with the musty odor indicates that this has been a problem for some...

"The host was very responsive to my questions. Answered in a timely manner. The location is very close to UT Austin. It is an apartment building that seems to house a lot of UT students. We were there over a weekend and it was very quiet. It is an older building but seems to be well maintained. Our only issues were with the little things. Two wash clothes in the entire apartment that sleeps 4-6 people. No towels in the kitchen to dry dishes. No hangers in the closets. The pillows need replaced....

"This apartment was pretty basic but met our needs just fine. It was a great location near UT, easy parking and very quiet. We did not cook but the kitchen seems to have what you would need if you did. Decor was simple but nice, bed/pillows are very comfortable. My only suggestion would be to have a luggage stand or other table on which to put a suitcase. We would definitely stay here again!The only reason I gave “communication” 4 stars is because none of the links work in the VRBO inbox & you...

"The apartment doesn’t look the same in person as it does in the photos. It’s an older complex and connected to other units . It was clean enough but did have a musty dank smell possibly from past water leaks or odors from another unit. Because it’s a bottom floor apartment the lights and sounds from the parking lot were somewhat of an issue. There was a lot going out there including some car repairs. The interstate and train tracks are also very close . Probably not ideal for solo female...

"We were dismayed when we saw the rug in the front room. It was stained and looked dirty. On the other hand, the air conditioning was great. The lighting in part of the place wasn't working because the bulbs were burnt out. We borrowed a bulb from people we were visitinv. We also borrowed a light blanket since there wasn't one there. So if you don't mind these things and you need an inexpensive place to stay, you will be ok. Also the location was absolutely perfect for us."
