"this castello (castle) is a gem of a special place and time. visit www.castellobeccaria.it for more information of the astounding history - a place where Giovanni de'Medici who became pope Leo X in 1513 - 1521 was staying as well. Giovanna and Silvio the owners will happily show and tell you all about it. Silvio - 3rd generation owner - and his wonderful wife Giovanna are working hard to restore the castle to its former beauty and incorporate beautiful guest rooms with modern amenities....
