"We arrived late for check in. Apparently they have a system that then cancels your booking. Hence; we were provided a double room for a family. The day after they denied to compensate in any way. Very bad experience - we have chosen the place due to good reviews which it did for sure not live up to. absolutely did not meet "

"Playa Catalina Hotel really surprised me in the best way. It gives you that Punta Cana vibe but in a more local, peaceful area. The beach is just a 5‑minute walk, and having a pool available 24/7 was perfect. The rooms look like little villas — super cute and cozy. What made the stay unforgettable was the staff. I traveled with my elderly dad, and they treated him with so much care. They helped him with his bags, supported him on the stairs, and always checked in on us. Even the security team...
