"I booked this hotel through hotels.com. At check-in I was informed that the hotel pool was still under construction. We needed a pool after a long trip and for relaxation after sightseeing in the summer heat the coming days, so we asked the young woman at check-in if it was possible to check out again to find a different hotel with an open pool. She informed us that it was not their policy, but she called a manager. We talked to the manager on duty - a very nice and helpful lady, who helped us...

"Do NOT stay at this location!! The owner is very creepy and weird. I pulled up at the day of arrival. And after he drove up in the driveway and got out. I called his name and he just looked and stared at me WITHOUT speaking! I called his name twice and he just stared at me. Super awkward and strange. Do not stay here! "

"The property and motel and staff were great. I highly recommend staying here but don’t book it through Expedia because they charge you more instead of saving money. Book directly with the hotel. We had to stay another night and saved money by booking with the hotel. I thought Expedia was supposed to save you money. I won’t make that mistake again."
