We had an excellent two nights at Ernespie House. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. All the staff we met were pleasant and hospitable. The hotel is spotless and our room was fantastic with all amenities, warm and cosy for such a large room with a wonderful high ceiling, bed was super comfy, lovely pillows and duvets, attention to detail is spot on. We had our evening meal both nights and they were first class. The honeycomb cheesecake is fabulous and I can honestly say the Rump steak was the best I have ever tasted. Cooked breakfast both mornings, delicious! It was very wet while we were there, so we weren't able to have a good look around the vast grounds, plan to do so on our next visit (weather permitting) The couple obviously have many plans for their new venture and we plan to visit again next year and see their progress.
