"The place is tucked away off the roads so it feels isolated and away from the hustle of the surrounding streets. The check in process was easy and the staff was amazing. We ate a few times at the hotel restaurant and it was excellent. The wifi is only available near the main area and not in the rooms, the kids took full advantage of the pools, both pool areas were well maintained. "Very nice set up. I picked this location for convenience from the airport. But after a couple of days, I moved closer to the volcano and decided to walk. For reference it’s a 90 minute walk, but it was incredibly awesome."

"The room was sufficient, but the bathroom definitely needed to be reworked. There is no hot running water. There is no real pressure for the shower. So I had to use the bucket and a kettle that was provided by the hotel to heat up my water so I wasn’t taking a cold bucket bath. There were also about a dozen ants inside the bathroom that I spotted. If anything, the bathroom can certainly be upgraded. The area around the property is very noisy with traffic. "I’ve had around 2.500 hotel nights in total and I would probably rank this hotel in my top 3! Don’t expect much from the room itself, there is what you need, but it’s very simple compared to western standards. But the location and the staff are amazing. The food in the restaurant are really good. At sunset most of the people gather around the beach and watch it set. Also the community in the town is wonderful.
