"Our stay at Hotel Le Fontanelle was the highlight of our two week trip to Italy! The views are breathtaking and we enjoyed strolling around the grounds. All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We had wonderful meals at the hotel restaurant and the restaurants at the Club House. The shuttle service between the hotel, the club house, and the winery was very convenient. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone- we’ll be dreaming about our stay here for a while! "

It was so PRIVATE that guide (Matthew) has done the BEST TOUR EVER that we can never experience at other winery. Margeritha was one of the best person to talk to. We came and arrived so late, she helped us to do check-in late. She introduced some places to visit (she made our schedule)

"God stor plads med masser af terræn - så lad cykel og løbehjul blive hjemme for disse er ikke forsvarlige at bruge. Til gengæld køre det lille tog rundt der med fordel kunne få flere stop så også glamp- lejren kan benytte sig heraf.
Pool området fantastisk stort, sikkert og med masser af leg til børnene. Poolen er noget beskidt af solcreme med alle de mennesker som anvender den. Gode madmuligheder og aktiviteter på pladsen.

"Vi havde et virkelig dejligt ophold! Stedet er smukt og fredeligt med en skøn atmosfære. Lejligheden var rigtig fin og havde alt, hvad vi havde brug for. Haven var vidunderlig – velholdt og afslappende – og saltvandspoolen var et stort plus. Morgenmaden var også rigtig god med fine, lokale råvarer. Det var desuden dejligt, at der kun var en kort gåtur til centrum af Siena. Alt i alt en skøn base for vores ophold i Toscana – vi kommer gerne igen!"

Det havde samme støj niveau som når en vaskemaskine centrifugerer. Det er ikke godt med dårlig nattesøvn, når man skal køre lange distancer."

"After four fantastic days at the Villa, we are absolutely blown away, with the historic aura there is in this place. Wonderful staff, great service and big, comfortable rooms. Yes - they are not newly renovated, but the Villa is several 100 years old, so that’s ok.
Try the evening dinner in the garten with a good bottle of Chianti or Wino Nobile, relax and enjoy the peacefulness. There is a pool and a tennis court in the garden.

"We had a double room with limited daylight. The bathroom was big and also the shower was a good size.
The pool had a fine view and easy to find a sunbed.
The downside of this hotel is that they don’t have a restaurant. Instead the have bar service were you can get some food. When we arrived the told we always could get food at the bar but last night we stayed they said that we couldn’t get food even though a lot free tables inside (the calmed we couldn’t sit there because it was already made ready for next day breakfast). A very bad excuse in our eyes.
The standard at the breakfast was not for a four star hotel."
