"My best friend and I hadn't seen one another in over two years. I had heard so many wonderful comments about Lola's since I live in Boothbay. We decided to stay at Lola's to get away from all distractions, catch up, relax and chill. It was a real girl's "retreat house". Everything we needed to be comfortable and pampered was in the lodge. Shopping and restaurants were just minutes away."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Authentic vintage experience! Off course, if your are looking for a neet and sophisticate lodding, it might not be the place for you… but it was perfect for us! "I cannot say enough about this property. We thoroughly enjoyed the mountainy/forest setting in the front of the cottage and of course the beautiful ocean in the back. I felt like we were in the middle of a setting of a Nicholas Sparks Book! The cottage had everything we needed, and was pristine clean! And the local people are lovely. We will be returning!"

"We loved this little cabin! The location was excellent as we loved exploring the beach looking for treasure and we loved being able to visit the Trolls at Maine’s Coastal Gardens. Patty was a great host, not only providing us a clean place to stay but also helped us find some gluten free restaurants for my daughter!"

"This property was as cozy and relaxing as it is presented in the listing. It had the feeling of being deep in the woods but it’s actually within a few minutes of Boothbay center and I’m talking 5 to 6 minutes of drive time. "We usually stay in Bristol/New Harbor area and though we would give this a shot. Great little cabin. Sprucewold Beach just down the road was a must check out! Can be very cold at night, as seasonal, bring your sweaters if coming before summer kicks off"

"It is a cute cabin but needs some serious maintenance. The entry slope would be improved by stepping stones along the very appropriate gravel path. It is a steep path and the stones can be slippery and awkward. The inside front door would benefit from a "wipe-your-feet" mat. The microwave, dishwasher and stove are nicely upgraded although we only used the microwave as we were just 2 and mostly ate out. There are 2 good heaters, one up and one down but they do not have fans so they do not heat...
