Been at this hotel a number of times. Conveniently located by the beach and relatively close to historic center (15 min by cab). It seems to me, that service levels are decreasing a bit. Receptionists are somewhat less friendly than they used to be. Rooms are nice (especially the newer ones in “Torre del Mar”). If you dine at the hotel, go for the restaurants “Bijao” and “Erre” (more formal) - you pay more but much better value for money.
The beach is nice (do not expect white sand, though) - especially if you want to walk. But really irritating that staff do not ask other guests to lower their music. There are a lot of vendors at the beach, but most are not too Insistent. Hotel is only 10 minutes from airport.
