"The road to get here is really winding so I suggest going during daylight hours. Once we arrived, We found the parking but couldn't figure out where the place was. So we walked straight ahead of where we parked and found it. Uneven stairs to get to front door. Once we were inside it was very nice. It's only peaceful if there isn't any family's with kids in the above house, so I suggest asking first. The view from the deck is a lot of trees so you can't see much. "The place was nice and clean, but a lot more remote than we realized. If you are looking for a place to really get away and unwind, it is a good pick. Bring all your food in so you don’t have to drive back out. If you are looking for a place as a home base for Carmel and the vicinity, it is a long winding drive. "

"Host was very accommodating to any questions or needs that we had. Immediately answered the phone. The house was perfect for us! We had 9 people including a couple of young grandchildren and they had a blast from the fort in the bedroom to the backyard playground. "

"Great place to unplug, touch grass, decompress. Comfortable deck patio, overlooking the river below. South-facing deck & sun-drenched most of the day. Decent kitchen setup, no grill. Excellent for a pair of couples with 2 bedrooms & baths. "

"The property was overall incredible. We had a very relaxing time during our stay. The house very comfortably accommodated all 9 of us. Getting from town to the house is about 20 minutes but a beautiful, scenic drive. All of the accommodations at the house were lovely from the full gym, to hot tub, fire pit and sauna & cold plunge. We did have a small issue with the sauna but were able to reset it and get it working again. Overall we would definitely stay here again! "

"Overall was a good weekend. The views were stunning and property itself is great. There were a few challenges - 1 there was dead mouse in the middle of one of the guest bedrooms upon check in. This indicated to us that the house hadn’t been cleaned recently. 2 - the WiFi didn’t work at all on our first day. 3 - there is a guest house on the property that was also rented to other tenants. This was not advertised anywhere. The other tenants did not know that we had a dog and left the gate wide...
