"Very basic rooms and with only mosquito net and no glass on top windows so you are awoken very early by sounds from neighbours and staff as well as wildlife animals. Not very attentive staff, we struggled to find someone to help us with information several times. And food is okay but again very basic. The grounds (pool area, beach, bar etc.) are all very nice though. Be aware that to get to Tortuguero village you need to pay for taxi boats which can quickly add up if you want to go on tours,...

"It might not be as fancy as it's neighbouring Resorts but what it lacks in this makes up in Manager & staff friendly, going out of there way to make it a memorable stay. Can't thank the Manager enough, helping us out on tours, getting into town and also connecting us to the next destination, making it stress free and it's just a chilled resort, yes it's basic but we loved it, great little pool which Son made as much use of it as possible and well the wildlife around the resort was just amazing!...

"turtles were amazing and a great experience overall! had no hot water. I understand there is no electricity but why not put a barrel on top of the building and paint it black? Also had no choice when to leave the place but with a 10am boat which was early given the overnight search for turtles, would have been nice to stay longer, the place is nice and peaceful."
