"My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at the Parkgate Hotel. The surrounding area is close to everything and vibrant with student life on the weekends, so coming home to the Parkgate is such a haven after experiencing all that (excellent) chaos. The hotel was perfect: the bar was well-tended and cozy (and beautiful), the lobby was grandiose, the staff was attentive and kind, and the rooms pleasant and clean. We couldn't want for more. On the last night, they forgot that w requested two...

"Even though the exterior of the restaurant and accommodation are undergoing refurbishment we had a lovely stay at the coach and horses @ Castleton. The Room was perfect for our two night stay and the optional breakfast was delicious."

"This hotel is very well placed to be within easy walking distance of the sea front and all the night life. The car park is right behind the hotel and even though it is a pay and dispay car park, the convenience of its location is well worth the six pounds for a full day charge. Overnight parking is free after 6.00p.m."
