"The Lodge is not for everyone as it has the quirkiness of anything that is old. Floors are uneven, doors don't always fit, lighting is terrible for reading, ( bring your own reading light ) there is no AC or an elevator, yet we love this place and return once a year. Surprisingly, since there are only two places to eat in the village, a pizza place and the Lodge, one would guess that the Lodge could get away with mediocre food, but that is not the case.
