It is filled with construction workers. Worse yet, you do not have access to the resort or any of its “few” restaurants. You are not told any of this during booking. The pool that you do have access to was filthy. I spoke with the registration person who admittedly took some responsibility for the fact...

"Loved this bayside villa! A large condo very close to the beach!!! Outdoor seating space overlooking the bay was nice. I was greeted by a sea otter in the early morning. I loved my time in Captiva and can’t wait to go back. The host was very responsive and checked on me throughout my entire stay to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I need. "

Pool & hot tub right next to the unit building. Plenty of parking & 10-15 minute walk to downtown bars & restaurants. Host was very responsive & generous. Highly recommend!"
