"We came back to this property as we found it such a lovely place to stay. The owner is very welcoming, the property is clean, comfortable and quiet. It is also quite centrally located; Cairns is about 20 minutes, the Atherton tablelands about an hour and the daintree about an hour and a half away- all easy day trips. "The resort is situated on a hillside with an amazing view over Daintree Forrest. If you stay in the orchid suite then you have a garden with a view over this beautiful area. It’s calm and you hear birds chirping from early morning to late evening. The room we had was big. You fit two people with suitcases easily. The owners were lovely people and very accommodating to our requests etc . Within 5 minutes walk to eateries and convenience stores . If you are wanting a ground floor unit then please directly call the Hotel in person as this is the best way to make sure your requests will be heard . Laundry is $3 au for a wash and $3 for a dry .
