"The cottage is stunning with paintings by the owner herself. It was like staying in a gallery. Every detail was accounted for and we have absolutely nothing to suggest for improvement. The location was fabulous, we walked everywhere. One of the highlights of our stay was just sitting down with Ellen and Mike and hearing their story. Thank you for such a perfect weekend. "This carriage house exceeded our expectations. The owners were lovely and available to answer our questions promptly. They are very knowledgeable about the area. The carriage house had everything we could possibly need (and more). It was clean and spacious. Our favorite spot was the breakfast nook. Perfect for drinking morning coffee as the sun rose. If you stay, make sure you plan a sunset on the dock. It’s stunning. There is so much to do in this area. We enjoyed Hunting state park, downtown...

"This was the perfect vacation spot for my birthday weekend getaway! Great communication leading up to the trip and even day of check-in, super clean cottage in the BEST location. We were right on the beach and it was beautiful. The pool was a 2 min walk and it was amazing. We will definitely be back asap. "

"The place is nestled in a quiet place on the island. You are about 10 minutes from the beaches. The owner stocked the place with the necessities you will need. There is a lot of history on the island and restaurants around. In fact their is a breakfast place down the road from the cabin, named Driftwood. Really enjoyed our stay. "

"The house is very nice, well furnished and stocked with all kinds of kitchen necessities. I was very happy to see a large selection of stainless steal pots and pans. The house is centrally located and it’s easy to get around in various directions. A short and easy bike ride to the beach. We definitely plan on renting it for our next trip to HHI. "

"We had a great stay at the cottage. It’s on a quiet street. Everyone around the area was super nice. If you like doing a little walking around everything is really close by. Great food options. The Local Pie has great pizza. The Slider Bar had some of the best burgers and fries and go check out The Pearl kitchen & Bar for a nice dinner. "
