"Incredibly warm welcome. Room was rudimentary (for comparison, just marginally less nice than the premier inn we stayed in the night before). Main issue was the Aircon was ineffectual and I'm a hot sleeper. To be fair, in the morning I realised the windows do open a little. "

"Stayed overnight as had a trip on sea plane next day. Room was comfy and had everything we needed. Popped over to pub opposite for evening meal. Was delicious. A pint of guinness was also partaked. Breakast next morning in the same location, also excellent and good choice. "

"The kirkhouse inn looked great from the outside. The bar area and reception was very nice. Unfortunately when we got to our room we found it was very unclean. In the bathroom it was clear someone had shaved and they hadnt even wiped away the hairs. Makes you wonder what else they havent cleaned when they dont even wipe away the most obvious dirt. Other than that the room was worn. The trashbags in the bins were dirty, you could see they had just taken the trash out of the bag and not changed the...

"We had room no 1. The noise from the main road is extreme so you must secure your room will be on the back side. The breakfast is fine, but the food in the evening was from the taste and from the look not good, would not eat there again. The people are very friendly a d they do the best they can."

The food was great and reasonably priced. the room was amazing. Really spacious and very well presented. Everything I needed was there. The bathroom was huge. "Had.a lovely stay Audrey and Mark were lovely so welcoming. Our room was lovely and clean nice comfy bed. We had our little dog Maudie with us there was treats for her at breakfast. The only regret was we didn’t have dinner there we went to Callander and the road was so dark next time we will have dinner there"

"Came here with my family to celebrate my 60th birthday. Communication with the owner was excellent and check in accommodated us arriving early.There was everything and more on offer. We were pleasantly surprised at how well the kitchen was stocked with everything you could ask for.the selection of games kept everyone entertained. And the gift of chocolates and wine gave that extra special.touch...would definitely recommend and return."

"The property was in a lovely location and handy for local amenities! Very quiet and lovely to sit outside and listen to the bagpipes on a morning! The only down side was the drive down to the property and the potholes if they were filled in it would have been a much easier drive in and out. "
