"Cabin-like feel and just minutes from the center of Idyllwild. So glad we chose it. Bed was a little noisy getting in and out of it but not a big deal. Heater in room and bathroom kept us comfortable. Excellent visit."

"Staff was very helpful, and nice. Really friendly guy. I feel bad only giving 3 stars, for him alone. The reason for the lower rating is the room was tiny, barely room for the bed and a small dining chair. Very small (clean) bathroom. Paper thin walls. It's one of those places, you stay just to sleep. Room had a tv, AC and heat, a bathroom with a shower. It's close to the village. The kitchen food is good."

"Qaint and highly recommended. Every cottage has its own style and decor - I stayed in Joe’s Tavern. Beds are amazing, the area quiet. The patio perfect - and there are barbecued on site for you to use. Only thing missing, really, is a stove/range in the kitchen."

They also went an extra mile to provide different payment options in terms of the pet fee either through zelle or card. "Very pet friendly and in a nice off -the-beaten -track setting. The house functions well and was well supplied. The only negative was the outdoor furniture: chairs were rickety and one was broken so we couldn't eat outside. And no umbrella for daytime enjoyment."
