"The location is great with walk way along the river and it is closer to most shops for those that fancy home made food. Lots of parking space and it is secure. Notwithstanding, the Wifi was rubbish. Perhaps this was just something unusual because I told the staff, that I could not use the wifi due to low strength and constant disconnection."

"A perfectly pleasant stay. However it lacks the human touch. Everything is automated and seems organised to minimise interaction between host and guest. Breakfast - all three courses at the same time left at your door - eating cereal first meant cold bacon sandwich and cold toast. Run for the proprietor not the guest. "

"The frontage of this stunning hotel hides the incredible style & comfort inside. It’s absolute brilliant. Gorgeous crisp white high quality bed linen, excellent bathroom /shower/ fluffy white towels, very comfy bed. Every single fixture & fitting is the highest standard. Dinner was extremely good & all the staff were superb. "

"Our hostess was engaging and kind, giving helpful ideas for where to eat and what to do during our short stay. Very family-friendly property with bright and colorful decor. Spiral staircase was unique and fun in general but slightly tricky when maneuvering up or down with luggage. Thank you for giving us a comfortable place to lay our heads during our journey!"

"Okay, there’s no pool or jacuzzi, but that’s not the point. Everything was just as it should be from Kenneth’s welcome to his establishment to my leaving two days later. The house is absolutely spotless top to bottom with everything the guest would need for a comfortable stay. Breakfasts were well-cooked and tasty, and ample enough to set one up for the day. Bedroom was well-appointed, with numerous thoughtful details. The bed was comfortable with spotless bed linen. I will return!"

"Handy for Rothsey, and a lovely old building. My room was facing the harbour and an interesting view. Tired in places, chair was very wobbly, and doors etc as you would expect in a property of this age. However, the retro-fitted en-suite was good, and nice and clean. Felt like carpet had not been hovered. The Scottish breakfast was nice and not too overwhelming. Just right. The guys running the place were really friendly and polite."

"We had a great stay! Lovely staff and very local feel. We stayed in the cottage and there is a lot of heavy traffic during the day and evening - however the night are quite. Very nice restaurant at the hotel. "

"We thought we were booking into an Inn with facilities but its a complex of Lodges which are being constructed and a building site. There was no superior room, we were in a Lodge away from the main building as that has just been hanged into rooms with a few tables and chairs in the kitchen for breakfast.. The restaurant hasn't been built yet awaiting planning permission. This is not what we booked on our Anniversary Trip through Scotland - very disappointing We nearly fell over the raised...

"A warm welcome, clean room and fabulous views and topped off with an amazingly tasty breakfast! This guest house is next door to the “Ben Arthur’s Bothy” pub which serves fantastic food at reasonable prices and the Lochside views from the Guesthouse and pub are amazing!"

"Firstly this property is in a beautiful location and there are a number of places worth visiting in the area. The kitchen is excellent and the balcony was well used in the sunny weather. Everything that was promised in the apartment with 2 baths and a sauna. However, as it highlighted in the previous review the bed is not comfortable and the pillows are poor. It seems picky to highlight these things but you do need to sleep and it is a luxury accommodation which we and other people are paying...

"This visit was all about returning to a well loved area. The cottage was the perfect spot, with good sized comfortable rooms which let in the beautiful outdoors and lots of light. A well stocked kitchen made food preparation easy. Most importantly, the Clyde was there in all its glory."
