"Limpieza, comodidad"

"Bien que jolie avec une belle terrasse extérieure, cette maison manque d’entretien : porte de placard branlante, 2 lits qui grincent au moindre mouvement empêchant de dormir, un robinet de lavabo déscellé, micro-ondes en panne, porte d’entrée difficile à ouvrir, et interrupteurs difficiles à trouver. Nous avons été aussi un peu déçu de l’accueil froid de la propriétaire, pas franchement à l’écoute et peu prévenante: nous avons certes eu 1h de retard sur l’heure d’arrivée mais personne pour nous...

"Lovely property that felt very safe and tucked away. We were worried about the heat and no AC when we arrived- but found that the fans upstairs and keeping the shutters open until we went to bed cooled everything down so nicely. The beaches across the street were really fun- but definitely bigger waves to play in, vs a calm water beach (which there is down the road a bit more). "Five stars for the overall experience, location, and especially the staff, even though the actual accommodation is quite basic. The main listing makes it sound like this is a whole house, but it’s actually two completely separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and no connecting door between the two, then the kitchen and seating areas are outside. (This is more obvious in the detailed description if you click through and read the whole thing, but could be clearer in the main description...

"The property was in the perfect location and this was our third time in Puerto Viejo! When we return again we will definitely be staying here. We love how secure it was having a car and all. The owner of the home was so kind and Gracious. She would text to make sure everything was going perfectly. A must stay if your in the area. We will be returning. The little extra touches meant alot. "This lodge was the perfect setup for our family of 4 visiting the Cahuita area for a couple days. Immersed in nature and 5 minutes drive from the village, ideal for those looking for peace and quiet (except for the howler monkeys calls!) as long as you have a rental car. We were welcomed by the very friendly owners who provided a delicious breakfast on demand (great deal given quantity and quality).
