Dejligt værelse med havudsigt
Vi havde et dejligt værelse med havudsigt. Vi havde på forhånd bestilt aftensmad og morgenmad. Maden var meget ordinær og man havde kun 1 time til at spise aftensmaden. Morgenmaden var middel.

Overnatning meget tæt på Snowdon Mountain Railway
Meget slidt hotel, ikke specielt rent, ikke komfortabel seng. Dejlig morgenmadsbuffet, venligt personale. Smukt område.

スノードン登山鉄道に乗るために来訪した。 残念ながら山頂では天気が悪く、何も見えなかった。 建物は古いがよく手入れされている。 暖房はよく効いていて部屋は暖かい。(ヒーターがバスルームにも設置されている)。 レストランの料理は美味しかった(ディナーでサーモンを食べた)。 朝食は一般的な英国式でスタッフが料理を盛り付けてくれる。 庭が広くて開放的。 周囲にお店は少ない(駅の売店のみ、村の中心までは少し遠い) もし次に行くならば天気が良いことを期待したい。

Hotel was very clean but was let down by the food. Breakfast was very good, bar meals basic but overpriced. A bad experience in the restaurant left us very disappointed. One member of party had a steak that was very tough & inedible, he was offered a replacement but it had put him off eating, apart from the waitress no one bothered to come to the table to apologise or discuss options and we were charged for the meal. Felt sorry for poor waitress who was left to deal with the situation. Should not have been charged for this and chef or manager should have come to the table. Drinks in the bar are also very overpriced

Very convenient hotel for walking the Llanberis path. Great garden bar and the food in the restaurant is excellent. Staff very friendly and our room was pretty modern looking. Only slight negative is wobbly taps in the bathroom and it's a bit of a maze getting to the third floor. But would stay here again. 5 minutes walk to train up Mt Snowden and bus stop to other paths up the hill. Excellent example of a round tower behind the hotel and a scenic lake to have a swim in behind the bus stop.

The hotel was a great spot for enjoying Snowdonia and the Mountain Railway. Our room was nice with good amenities. It was a bit confusing navigating the stairway to reach the third floor but the staff was helpful and friendly.

Very noisy, very little soundproofing between rooms and from outside. Would not stay again unless no alternative.

We stayed as part of a larger walking group to climb Mount Snowden on our Cancer Charity fund raiser, so to find the hotel was located only 300 yards from the start of the route was a real bonus. The staff were attentive and delivered great customer service, thank you. We stayed in room 248, a twin room on the corner , a massive plus was that the windows opened, so you could get real fresh air rather than air con, it makes so much differnce. In general the property was good, it has a lift as well as stairs, food and dinning service was great, with good options for different gueat requirements, conservatory on 1st floor looking down the valley was a bonus at breakfast. The one negative was the rust around the plughole in the bath, which is not only unsightly but its a bit sharp, and not what you would expect in a hotel like this. An enamal repair of the pressed steel bath would do a temporary job, a kit cost about £30, or two days for a plumber to fit a new bath should be about £600 with materials. All in all a good location and service ****

Super property but only issue we had was the room temperature. So hot. Heating was not on in the room but was in the bathroom. Even with the window open didn't make much of a difference. What it would be like in the summer!

A perfectly positioned hotel for exploring the national park. All the staff were helpful and friendly and the food in the restaurant was amazing, couldn’t fault it! Breakfast basic but all good and fresh, could maybe have been a little hotter. Was upgraded to an executive room which was amazingly spacious. Great comfy bed and coffee/tea facilities. Would highly recommend

Lovely hotel. We really enjoyed our two night break. Room was very clean but small. The breakfast was great. We were given permission to use the car park hours before check in - which after a five hour drive & before climbing Snowdon was much appreciated! We would love to return one day! Keep doing what you’re doing Royal Victoria!

Relaxing and Great location
Really enjoyed a two night stay at Royal Victoria hotel ...Even though is going through some updating can not praise the excellent service and catering enough . Location is excellent for the walks to the summit and lake plus both lake railway and Slate museum. Food was really good and can recommend highly the Lamb choice . Rooms are spacious warm and plenty of tea and coffee facilities. Service was above and beyond . Looking forward to a revisit !!

The breakfast room conservatory is a highlight. The view over Llanberis with your coffee is well worth waking up early for.

Bed from hell.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was OK. The bed was literally the least comfortable bed I have ever (tried but failed) to sleep in. Like a wonky cardboard box full of broken springs. Room was like a sauna despite turning off radiators and opening window. Hardly slept a wink. Felt awful in the morning. If that bed and mattress are less than 20 years old I'll eat my hat.
