"Pleasantly surprised with a little taste of the Florida Keys in the middle of Southern Ohio! Beautifully, decorated with vibrant colors & tropical plants with plenty of seating by the indoor pool in the common area. Comfortable, modern rooms. Very friendly & helpful staff! Ideal location in downtown Logan, with most popular hiking destinations less than 20 minutes away, shopping around 5 minutes away, & plenty of dining options within walking distance. Highly recommend! "

"Charging station and porta potties far from Cabin. Description says 1/2 bath, Where? No outlet at charging station to make coffee or anything. Had to park away from Cabin and make several trips. Water outlet not close to cabin either. Cabin itself was nice. I just wish the description was clearer."

"The cabin was nice but i booked 2 days and only got to stay for one. I wasnt sent the info to get in (acess code) and couldn't get in contact with them until the 2nd day. Vrbo couldnt either. They told me i would get reimbursed but still have not. They were nice on the phone once i finally got in contact with them but the not being reimbursed due to them not allow me access in a timely fashion and having to book a hotelfor that first night really just kinda bothers me still."

"We had such a unique experience at our rustic cabin. We were greeted by a horse, dogs, chickens, and more! Michelle, the owner went out of her way to make sure that all of our needs were met. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking to get in touch with nature but does not want to go tent camping. "

"Overall we had a nice stay. Clean, quiet and nice location in the small town of Nelsonville. Only comment on advice related to breakfast is get there when it's planned to start as there's a set amount of food and that is it. Food was good but we were a little late getting to the first come first serve style. But overall was a very nice stay."

"My daughter, and sister stayed at the Hyde House for one night before heading to Hocking Hills to hike. The Bed and Breakfast was clean, and quiet. Unfortunately, we were not able to stay for breakfast, as we got an early start to Hocking Hills the next morning. The breakfast smelled delicious, and the staff was courteous."

"Very cozy cabin in a quite setting. Neighbors are close to the fire pit, but we never saw them. The fresh eggs were a great touch, and the welcome to the family sign was nice as well. I would stay again."

"It was ok for what we wanted. The heat is an issue. It was definitely very cold in the back room. The "kitchen" is tiny, but comparable to a hotel kitchenette. The property is nice and the people are nice."

"You won’t get claustrophobia here - open, rustic decor, feels a bit like a really big, cool man cave. Two games could use some attention — small version of foosball needs repaired or replaced; the bumper pool table needs nuts to hold down the bumpers; the jute box needs repairing as well. The hiking was outta this world! Reminds us so much of many spots in Zion National Park in Utah. Ohio’s best kept secret!"

"This was super cute and cozy, we wanted to get away for weekend anniversary and not kill the bank account. Very quiet relaxing, little trail behind it was nice as well. We had 2 small dogs and was great for them as well. James was very quick to respond when needed something or asked questions. Next time we stay gonna try out the Skoolie!."

"Stayed for the weekend during Nelsonville Music Festival. Cozy set-up. Fire pit, hot tub, hammock posts all made for a relaxing stay. Just make sure that when you Google or Waze directions, you search for "Hidden Gem Cabins"... If you only enter the address, Google may take you 1/2 mile or so down the road. Property manager helped get us back on track. If you're going to be in and out, I recommend downloading an offline map of the area since service can be spotty (service at the cabin was good)."

"The home was built in late 1800's. We loved the charm of it. It has the wear of an older home, but it was cozy, the room we stayed in was one of the small ones, with a full bath. for a night or two stay, it is nice. access to the living room with a cd player, coffee machine in the dining room with a large table for breakfast guests. Books and games available. The breakfast was buffet style, served by a pleasant staff. I would definitely go back. It's a nice short walk to town in 5 minutes."
