"Our Texas family loved our stay at Hays Beach hideaway! The house was perfect and had everything we could possibly need. Just a short walk (60 seconds) to the beach and we were crabbing and enjoying the most beautiful sunrises I’ve ever seen! Owner was very responsive and offered information about the area. "A great weekend in a great setting. The place was cute and bright, in a quiet neighborhood, and right on the water. We caught & steamed crabs, we sat out on the deck and watched the water, we cooked dinner, saw shooting stars from the hot tub. Kitchen very well stocked with good tools. Dedicated easy parking. "The Jazzy 6 loved the accommo- dations and the kitchen was great. Stocked with seasonings, coffee and tea. Marykim was a wonderful hostess. She had our golf cart delivered to Idol Hour and our Smith Island Strawberry cake was in the refrigerator waiting for us. We loved Idol Hour and would stay again. "We LOVED our stay and it was so relaxing. We traveled with an infant (5 months) and it went great. The Jacobs were so generous and offered us an early day check-in and late check-out free of charge. The sunrises were EXTRAORDINARY and the property is fully stacked with anything you need but might forget. Ex: we forgot our bug spray and found one on the property!
