"Ein großes altes Haus mit Stil, mitten im Dorf und doch ganz ruhig. Das Restaurant in der Nähe hat eine hervorragende Küche, leider ist es nur am Wochenende geöffnet. Die Landschaft ist herrlich. Es gibt zahlreiche Weingüter die ausgezeichnete Weine zu vernünftigen Preisen anbieten. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen."

"The property itself is very nicely renovated and has a high quality touch and feel. Castino is nicely located to explore the Langhe. However, after renting holiday properties for almost 15 years we dare say that this one has let us down in several aspects. First and foremost it is not equipped sufficiently to serve 4 adults leave alone the 8 advertised. I.e. we only found a 2 cup Bialetti Mokka maker and a 4 cup filter coffee maker in the entire house; there were only 4 big coffee mugs for all...

"Nous avons loué cette magnifique maison, une semaine où il a plu presque en continu. Et bien évidemment cela gâche beaucoup les vacances.. Néanmoins Federico et ses parents sont adorables, la maison est superbe( bien que peu adaptée selon moi aux familles avec bébé, car on accède aux chambres par un long escalier assez raide) . "We (a couple with a daughter of 2) had a great start of our Italian summer holiday at Marisa's place in Bonvicino. Although we didn't speak the same language, the communication was easy. The apartment is very nice and cosy. Everything is on the same level and connected (no doors, but for us that wasn't a problem) so our daughter specifically enjoyed running around the place. The view from the terrace is quite spectacular and the pool was a real treat!"

"A lovely apartment in an old house in the center of the village. Easy to get into Alba and to shops. Good walking around the village as well as paths close by through the vineyeards. Great space and fantastic views. Very comfortable and everything you need. Hosts also live on property - and while our Italian is very limited and they have little English - we communicated OK and they were very friendly and generous."

"Ruhiger und entspannter, ursprünglicher Ort für erholsame Ferien. Etwas abseits gelegen, dies sollte man bei täglichen Fahrtstrecken einberechnen. Dafür wundervolle Gastgeber, 2 tolle Hunde und viel Ruhe und Beschaulichkeit. Wir haben zudem viel gelernt über das Kultivieren von Haselnüssen - die Tour mit Essen ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"We are a family group of 19 people, 3 generations are represented with ages from 81 to 14 years old. We use to meet 2 or 3 times a year. We are coming from 3 different countries in Europe. The house il perfect to host this kind of event. The bed rooms are exactly as we wanted. The kitchen dinning room is enormous and perfectly equipped. At arrival, Eleonora welcomed us and explained the house and all the equipments in detail. We may come back."

"Super nice and new apartments however the beds are not same quality as the rest of the building / flat. Calling it suites the expectations are (to us) better than a basic flat, which this is. The beds are not good (very soft, bouncy) and our bigger kids slept in was really poor and noisy (sleeping sofa-bed). "
