"This house is as described. Very spacious! We used both the upstairs and downstairs units which fit my family perfectly. The house has some age on it so the cleanliness falls under “age””. Don’t get me wrong, this is a very nice house, and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a spacious place with great access to the beach. We made some great memories here!"

"We had a wonderful week staying at the beach cottage. The house had everything we needed. It was clean, cozy, and decorated with a beach vibe. We enjoyed the view of the ocean from the porch and being only steps away from the ocean. The space under the house was nice to have and we used grill and hammock. "The pictures accurately reflect the home. Has great stained wood floors and a wonderful front screen porch. It sits on a quiet town block, located close to the better restaurants and the beach. The staircases from ground to main floor are long and pitched. Descending can be tricky . "

"Had a great time. House was beautiful, like somewhere I could see myself living permanently. Everyone on Oak Island were welcoming and laid back. We enjoyed the local eateries and shopping especially the amount of antique stores in the area. Picture time by the pier at sunset is a must. "

"The property was just as pictured in the listing. Its a small cottage, with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom but it was perfect for our family of 5. We brought a pack n play for our toddler and it fit great in the room with 2 twin beds. Our only issue was that in the heat of July, we were very hot in the bedrooms the first night. When I reached out to the owner asking if she had a box fan we could use, she promptly had 2 delivered to the house! We were planning on getting one at Walmart, but were...
