"Mermaid Manor was overall better than I anticipated. The place was more spacious than the pictures let on. That's unusual - often it is the opposite. The bedrooms had ample space and that added to the overall functionality of the condo. The kid's bunk room with two trundles had a ton of floor space which was great. "Well we were very exhausted from carrying luggage and food up three stories. That would have been overlooked if the property had been in good condition. The front door needs to be replaced. We were worried because there was dust built up on the vents. When we were taking a shower there was a large spider in the shower curtains that frightened my friend pretty bad. There was an opening under the doors a mouse could crawl under. It had been awhile since I lived in Carolina beach and I wasn’t aware...
