"A beautiful barn conversion in an outstanding area. The Road to the cottage is narrow and bumpy but worth it to enjoy the peace once there. (Occasional moo heard as a working farm- but we were aware and actually quite liked it) Cottage is well equipped, beds very comfortable, very warm. Host was very helpful and welcoming. We used as a base to visit York and also Yorkshire wildlife park. Perfect location, nearby Howden offers good restaurants and location perfect for exploring Yorkshire and...

"We had a lovely 3 night stay in the Bluebell shepherds hut. The accommodation was well equipped, and beautifully decorated. We couldn't have asked for a comfier bed! The hot was an added treat and just as lovely in the drizzle!Only thing that could be improved is better Wi-Fi connection, it is there, just intermittent. Sue was a delight to be welcomed by and had we needed anything, I have no doubt we would have received it quickly."

"Well located and gorgeous flat. The main issue was noise, as it is not well insulated from noise outside (noise from the kitchen staff from the pub opposite smashing the bins until midnight) and from the flat below (could hear the couple being intimate), so although the bed is comfy not ideal to get a good night sleep."
