Perhaps that was our fault for not asking enough questions, but the listing could be more forthright.On arrival, you have two choices. The rear parking area is fine, but the path down to the house is loose stones, so prepare to carry your luggage down. You can access the house from the street, but it is also steep, and the walkway is rough stones with limited...

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Fantastic cottage, ideally situated for exploring the area and beyond. Very clean and well equipt, very comfortable bed. Within about one mile of Dunrobin Castle and just across the road to the beach. We also drove to visit The Castle of Mey and John O’Groats. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. "

"The cottage was very clean and welcoming and really well stocked with anything we could need. We were very comfortable. We got instructions a few days in advance that were very clear so finding and accessing the cottage was easy. There is a fabulous pub just down the street for a great meal. Just make reservations. Wonderful stay. "
