"An incredible experience! The Inkwell Suite is such a comfortable, modern, and warm room. Do yourself a favor and book this room!The Tempur-pedic mattress was extremely comfortable. Rental properties can feel like a gamble sometimes with mattress quality, but the owners of the Spofford Lodge spared no expense to furnish their rooms with high quality items. The bathroom is luxurious and spacious! A shower stall and separate bath is so nice! The heated floors and towel rack are such incredible...

"This place is very clean and the rooms are large. I enjoyed the walk down to the water, which is close by. Kitchen was well stocked. I, too, felt a railing on the stairs would be helpful. I am new to the Vacasa connection, so that took some learning, but all went well. "

The curtains and lack of curtains allow in too much light from passing cars and the sun. The bed was smaller than I expected. However it was mentioned in the description. The home itself was very beautiful and cozy. Nice view. Loved the books and board games available in the home. You can tell the host takes pride in their property. "
