"We were treated like royalty by the owners, the staff is excellent and very attentive and helpful, the property is wonderful, like a museum, with the most exquisite paintings and other works of art, a beautiful garden and swimming pool, the breakfast is outstanding, the location is perfect, quiet, safe and close to Brooklyn Mall and restaurants. "Fine stay (4 nights). Good location. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff. Very good coffee (great barista). Rooms a bit run-down. And limited service at the pool area (strange that you have to go down a floor to get service) Internet unstable and not able to have online Zoom or Teams meetings. "
"We were welcomed at the gate and taken to the reception desk by one of their very helpful & friendly employees. We had to sign a sort of indemnity document so whilst we did that he went into the room and put the Champagne I had requested (A great choice within the bounds of the budget I had set) into a big bucket of ice for us. We were escorted to our room shortly after and given a brief walkthrough to show us how everything worked, which keys are for which door, etc.

"Why do you have to pay extra for wifi, while staying on a 4-star hotel? It should be part of the room pr. definition. Secondly they wanted me to to deposit R100 to use the phone on my room. Do they think I pay R 1500 for a room and the runs from the phonebill? They had my creditcard on file, too."

The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. The parking was secured and very safe too.
Parking at the bottom where I'm enjoyed park there, due to the pillars the security was thereto assist with the parking and can you imagine that both male and female was helping to park. We're used to male doing that but it was amazing to see a lady helping directing me to park and other members too.
