We call it “acreage living without the responsibility!” Backing onto five acres of protected koala reserve, our home is a peaceful sanctuary where wild birds, koalas, and tranquillity reign. Enjoy the best of nature with a fire pit under the stars, a coffee maker for slow mornings, and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with a BBQ and pizza oven. Sit back and watch the native birdlife flutter by, or visit our backyard finches and friendly chickens. Don’t forget to help yourself to fresh eggs for breakfast - straight from the coop to your plate.
Alexandra Hills boasts many family-friendly parklands, wonderfully wild conservation areas and is a short drive to the coast and bay.
Perfect for your family getaway to be surrounded by nature and explore the islands. Bring along your fur friends (on request - fee applies).
Main Living Area:
Walk in the front door to a beautifully renovated home. Cook in the gourmet kitchen, dine on the 6 seater indoor dining table and then relax and chat around the comfy lounges (seats 6).
The Kitchen
Fully equipped, with oven, stove top, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer.

The Media Room
Feel like being entertained? Retreat to the media room with TV and Netflix. 3 reclining electric lounge chairs - one double and two singles.

Master king bedroom - Sleepeezee adjustable King Singles - bedroom is made up as one King bed but can be made up as two King Singles on request.

Study:
The Study is accessed via the single bedroom and has a desk and desk chair. This room adjoins bedroom four and has hanging space and drawers for use by the forth bedroom.
Bathroom:
The bathroom has a shower and vanity.
There is a separate toilet next door to the bathroom.
The Backyard:
The expansive back deck is the place you will want to spend the majority of your time. Walk out the back and into a peaceful sanctuary of plants, wildlife, native finches and chickens.
The outdoor lounge setting has two single chairs and two X three seaters - perfect to sit with a good book or enjoying your freshly made coffee in the morning or just take in the nature all around you. While the kids play on the grass and explore the 5 acre nature reserve leading from the back gate.
The nature reserve is a children’s parkland and paradise, with designated play areas and a dog runs. Just open the gate and you're in the reserve!
The Herb and Vegetable garden:
Guests are welcome to pick fresh herbs and enjoy the lettuce and other seasonal delights from the garden during their stay.
Things to Note:
We gladly welcome small dogs and other pets for a small nightly fee per pet; they are permitted outdoors only, not on furniture and must be approved in advance. Pets are NOT allowed inside the house.
No smoking in the house.
There is currently a mobile home parked in one corner of the front yard, which may occasionally be occupied by the owner or friends. Rest assured, your privacy will be fully respected.
House Rules/Additional Info:
• The nightly rate covers accommodation for up to 6 guests. The property has a strict maximum occupancy of 7 guests. We do not accommodate more than this under any circumstances. However, if additional guests stay without prior approval, a further charge of $40 per person, per night will apply. Please ensure the correct number of guests is included in your booking to avoid these charges.
• For bookings of 14 nights or more, a light clean is required.
IMPORTANT
Before you arrive you will be asked to:
1. Complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Superhog will contact you via text to complete the verification.
2. Choose between a refundable deposit of $500 (plus admin fee $15) or a non-refundable damage waiver of $50.
3. Sign our rental agreement
Guest Access:
The keys are in a lockbox at the front entrance. Use the provided access code to retrieve them.
