"The cottage was awesome & very clean. The view from the deck is beautiful. We knew we would be early for the fall colors but the views are still incredible. The beds are very comfy; the hot tub is a nice bonus after a day hiking to falls. Glad we had the pickup for the steep climb up the mountain. "

"We stayed three nights over the New Years holiday and had a wonderful time! There was plenty of space for six adults and one dog. We loved the layout with bedrooms and bathrooms on all three levels. We enjoyed the pool table, arcade, and hot tub and the furniture in the main living area was great for football watching with six reclining seats. Just a few minutes into downtown Blue Ridge if you decide to go out to eat. "

"The house itself is very nice and equipped with anything you might need, but the best feature is the view from the screen porch. You can see the lake. Not a clear view but beautiful through the tree tops. I've never been anywhere so quiet. All we heard were birds and an occaisonal boat. The wifi was down and cell service is very spotty, but a blessing to get away from there. Can't wait to return."

"Yes, the property location is amazing. However parking and turnaround is rather dicey at best, especially in wet conditions. One has to be careful. The house is great with amazing comfort and amenities. I would rate our stay there as a four of five. "
