"This was our 7th summer in Michigan and our 6th rental house there. The house was very clean. With 3 kids, we loved the easy access to the water/beach water (searching for sea glass is so much fun), the additional tvs (including the one in the enclosed porch), the friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts, we could go on and on. Check out the Daily Bakehouse in Manistee, Sleeping Bear Dunes (and nearby Glen Arbor)."

"This cottage was perfect for our family of 7. A great play area for the kids. Beautiful home, cozy and spacious. We all enjoyed the water and fire pit. No swimming access so we drove to Ludington for a day of shopping and swimming at the state park. Well worth the hour drive. Definitely would stay here again!"

"Everything was better than expected from the cottage to the weather. We had our Golden Retriever with us there were two beautiful beaches there we could take her off leash and let her swim, one worth checking out is Butterville Park/Beach about 15-20 minutes away. Everything we needed was within 20 minutes of the cottage. John was a great host and answered any questions we had. We hope to get back again soon."

"This place is exactly what is listed! Small, cozy and private. Located centrally in Idlewild, it was the perfect distance from everything. The kitchen was fully loaded with all the utensils! It was a beautiful view to wake up to. All of my questions were answered promptly by the owner, before arriving. One of the best stays I've had away from home! The hosts were great to communicate with. I would definitely stay again!"

"We took our brady bunch of kiddos for the week and had the best time! From age 17 to 8 we occupied everyone for the week. This property is set up perfectly for an enjoyable escape.
