"We had a great time at Knoll House - a truly old British affair - vintage and well loved, quirky, fun, v friendly and efficient staff, good dinner, excellent breakfast. Perfect for a family break with plenty of facilities and brilliantly located. We took our small dog who was welcomed by staff. By the very nature of being dog and family friendly this is a cosy place, gentile but not fancy - ideal for active guests with plenty of space for grandparent to join too! "

The bed was comfy and the ensuite bathroom was gorgeous The only negatives are, I couldn’t leave my window open as there was an easily accessible large ledge right outside and the window could be opened fully from the outside if left open so I didn’t feel safe to leave open. "From the moment we arrived we instantly appreciated our surroundings. The Manor House is tastefully decorated, clean and very welcoming. The staff were lovely and nothing too much trouble for them. Breakfast was excellent with a good amount of choices. Unfortunately we had only booked in for one night but made the most of the fabulous views and wallowed in the peace and quiet. Absolute heaven. We have made a promise to ourselves to return for a longer stay."
