Meget centralt. Fin morgenmad. Dejlig swimmingpool. Dejligt roligt hotel. Vores safe blev ved med at gå i stykker. Parkering alt for dyrt.

Lidt skuffende oplevelse på Hotel Norfolk Hotel
Servicen var fin, men det var temmelig irreterende at få et værelse ved siden af elevatoren. Det var ikke hvad vi havde forventet når vi bestilte et værelse på så umiddelbart flot hotel. Man skal være opmærksom på at der kommer en afgift på parkering af bilen på 150 kr, hvis man benytter hotelles parkeringskælder.

Fint ældre hotel med god service
Det er et fint gammelt hotel med gode senge og fin service dog syntes vi at hotellets private parkering var lidt dyr 12 pund pr dag (ca. 120,- kr) God morgenmads buffet med bl.a. "english breakfast"

The hotel was really good. Our room was lovely on the ground floor with a terrace. Nice to sit out and read early in the morning before breakfast as weather was good. Breakfast was also really enjoyable and the young trainee lady who served us was really sweet. She remembered that we had a problem with the prepaid parking as the automatic gate would not open and we were also worried about my prepaid ticket would not be recognised as we did not have to put in our reg no we were told by YPN that we would have to. We had read that someone had incurred £100 fine with a prepaid ticket and were trying to do everything we could to prevent that. Hotel said that it was all good but we shall wait and see if anything nasty comes in the post. That was the only downside.

Wir mussten einmal das Zimmer wechseln, in der ersten Nacht waren die Geräusche der Wasserpumpe störend. Im 2. Zimmer mangelte es an Heizungswärme sodass ein 2. Heizkörper her musste. Das Personal war hilfsbereit und Verständigungsvoll. Positiv war, Wir konnten im Parkhaus unserem Elektroauto die ganze Nacht aufladen.

A beatiful old, Victorian hotel that is slightly faded but still has a lot of charm. The staff make up for any shortcomings of the property by being friendly and attentive.

The hotel was beautiful, the decor was dated but it's one of the things that drew me to book this hotel. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The pool was the perfect temperature, the Jacuzzi I have to say I don't think I've ever been in one that hot before All in all the stay was brilliant, breakfast was lovely, the hotel is in a brilliant location with so many things in walking distance the pier, beach, town and stunning gardens. The hot water in the bath / shower was practically instant which is a rarity. The beds were super soft, the TV in the room was a smart TV so we could access Netflix etc instead of being stuck searching through a few odd standard channels. Our room was a lot larger than expected which was nice and on the second floor facing the church which was a lovely view to have and we was either very lucky to be there with quiet guests or the rooms are well sound proofed as we didn't hear a peep from anyone once in our rooms apart from the odd footstep out in the corridor. I would definitely return to this hotel in the future

Weekend stay.
Lovely stay friendly and helpful staff.. Room comfortable.. Breakfast was very good, Only downside was the pool and changing rooms, could definitely do with an upgrade.

We have stayed at this property every time we go to bournmouth it is very convenient to everything and very welcolming the room we had was a family room but if anything to complain about the beds we’re a little hard the parking is very good all under the hotel which gives peace of mind all in all another good stay and definalty be going back to this hotel.

The property was nice and in a very good location with easy access to the centre. We checked out early because the bed was rock hard and not good to sleep on. Apart from that everything else was really good. The staff cannot do enough for you and the hotel was clean and tidy

Great location
This hotel is a great choice for all the attractions of Bournemouth, only a few minutes walk to the gardens, shops & beach. The staff are friendly & the public areas of the hotel are well kept, welcoming & cosy. Our room was clean & spacious but the decor was tired that’s all. All the bedroom doors had a lovely Christmas bow on them which was a nice touch The downside of our stay was we were on the third floor & the lift was out of order, as two middle aged ladies we found this challenging, particularly carrying our cases up the three flights of stairs! We would stay again but request a lower floor just incase.

I stayed at the hotel at the end of November and was dissatisfied with rooms, electrical safety and staff. I have reached out to the manager with three emails and two phone calls which have been acknowledged but no response. I would recommend you seek a modern hotel, with modern equipment, the hotel looks good from the outside only!

The staff were very friendly, from reception through to cleaning. we were a family group taking three family rooms and had very young children. The youngest had a couple of accidents and the staff were so helpful and understanding. Big thank you to all The reception area is nice and has a grand feel to it, the rooms are a little bit shabby though. Threadbare arms on the armchairs, torn wallpaper (by the upper bed on a bunk bed so presumably a previous young occupant. The radiator in the room is in a strange position, below the window but covered by floor to ceiling curtains, so the heat goes straight out. However, the room was spacious and the hotel close to the town centre, so if you are just looking for somewhere to lay your head, it would be fine. It looks to have changed hands this year so I suspect there will be some refurbishment going on through '24

The room/bed was comfortable apart from it was rather cold as the radiator wasn't working properly but we were given an electric heater which made it very comfortable and cosy. The reception staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Stayed here last November as a large group for the weekend and the food was excellent. It's now under new ownership and the food this year was very disappointing. OK, but nowhere near as good as previously. The location is great for the town and the beach and the outside of the building looks lovely with all the external lights. I would recommend staying but perhaps eat elsewhere.

Room a little tired could do with a refurb and so corners of bathroom hard to clean also get refil shower gel like travel in too much plastic! The shower in room 321 wasn’t upto much more of a bath tab overhead not spray. Curtain nets ripped but overall was a good stay

Lovely place to stay.
The hotel is a beautiful old building with modern bedrooms. The location of it is excellent. Our room was very spacious. The staff were lovely - approachable, friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning here in the future. We did not eat an evening meal in the hotel but the breakfast was lovely.

DONOT CHOOSE THIS VERY TIRED HOTEL
WORST HOTEL I HAVE STAYED IN FOR A LONG TIME. SAFE DID NOT WORK. WAS TOLD I SHOULD NOT HAVE USED IT. RECEPTIONIST VERY UNHELPFULL. BREAKFAST WAS VERY BASIC, NO FRESH FRUIT ALL OUT OF TIN. ROOMS VERY TIRED OLD BATHROOM DIRTY. HOTEL OVERALL IN A VERY POOR STATE. NEEDS A BIT REBURBISHMENT. TV DID NOT WORK. NO IRON WAS TOLD I COULD GET AN IRON AFTER 9 AM. NOT HELPFULL WHEN YOU NEED TO GO TO WORK AT 8AM.
