"While the hotel is already run down, house keeping services were good to compliment our stay. The smell of the room was damp as if it was not occupied by customer quite a while. I had to spray some air freshener before I could breath comfortably. Breakfast spread could be much better with more variety of food to keep up with the 'resort' standard."

"Pool is fantastic and service is great, but the drinks have no sugar and the alcohol seem to be wrong in taste, really bad. Rooms are good, clean and new. There is sadly no beach in front of the hotel, but you can walk to a "worn out" beachfront in 10 minutes, trashed by flooding, where swimming is not allowed due to currents! Take a daytrip south to get to nicer beaches."

"The location is GREAT! Cool to be among the jungle animals and at the wonderful beach. BUT! this 5 star hotel doesnt manage to get the basics straight. Dirty bathroom, mosquito nets broken, rusty things in the bathroom, food at dinner bad & cold and very expensive for Asian food and especially of that quality!, no toilet paper holder in the toilets, no light in the public toilets etc. They want to unfold your napkin at dinner, but the napkin ends up having been used before, is not ironed......

"Great place with nice rooms and beautiful view (both to Mt Kinabalu and Kota Kinabalu). Standard Malaysian breakfast and decent lunch and dinner menu. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room (104) was very good although there are a few ants around (so make sure not to leave food around). Bed, shower and toilet were nice and clean. Internet worked quite well (not guaranteed in this area). Our best place in Sabah so far (out of 6 good hotels)."

"En rigtig dejlig ø med snorkling lige uden for døren. Masser af flotte fisk at se på ved koralrevet. Meget venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Det ville have hjulpet med en tidstabel over færgerne til og fra øen, samt information om hvilken jetty man skal sejle fra."
