There were several things to explore in the local area too, which made it a good variation in having both days to stay in the house and days, where we went exploring away from the house all day long. "We were satisfied with this stay. The kids, 6-38, stayed in the larger house and we stayed in the smaller one. We thought the smaller house was closer to the large one, but it is a little bit down the road. The only comment I will make about the smaller house is that the parking area is up from the house and the path down is very rocky. If you have any mobility issues it would be difficult to traverse. It snowed while we were there and we had to use ice cleats to go up to the car. Overall though...
