Please note that as of mid-May 2024, there are 2 new homes being built on this street, including one on the lot immediately next door. Construction noises may be heard Mon-Sat during daylight hours.

Upon entering Carolina Wren Cottage you will be greeted with a lovely open floor plan between the two bedrooms, living room and kitchen area. The living room is furnished with 4 leather recliners, a gas-log fireplace and a flat screen TV above. The kitchen has a spacious feel and offers brand new appliances, granite counters, and a Keurig coffee maker for all the coffee lovers out there! Pops of color throughout the cabin are sure to bring a smile to everyone's face.

There are two bedroom suites here. The master bedroom features a King bed, flat screen TV and a full bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower. The second bedroom at the other end of the cabin is nearly identical with a Queen bed, flat screen TV and also has it's own full bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower. As an added luxury element, both bathrooms have heated floors.

Step outside onto the back deck to enjoy a cool evening, and enjoy a dip in the Bullfrog Spas hot tub. Listen to all that nature brings to the High Country of North Carolina and soak it in. Carolina Wren Cottage is sure to leave you feeling refreshed and energized!

Carolina Wren Cottage is just a 7 minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway outside Blowing Rock, and from there there it's a short and beautiful drive to some of the best scenery on the entire Parkway. This property is accessed via all paved roads and are easy to navigate. AWD or 4WD vehicle may be necessary in the winter months.

Additional Notes:
-Firewood for the outside firepit may be purchased from our office with at least 7 days advance notice. You will receive two kiln-dried bundles and one Firestarter log for $25/nt.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

-This home allows up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs with an additional pet rent of $25.00 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
- This homeowner has one exterior security camera, mounted above the front door looking out towards the street. There are no other cameras at the property.
-CANCELLATION POLICY: STRICT: Cancellations 60+ days prior to arrival receive a full refund minus the $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival will not be refunded unless the dates are rebooked to another traveler.
