"I have to say this place was wonderful.My favorite thing was drinking my coffe on the deck in the morning under the trees and spanish moss listening to the birds. It was so relaxing. House very clean, basic necessities. Good parking. 2 steps in for folks with mobility issues. One step in shower and one tub. "I can’t say enough good things about this home and the host. The home is in a quiet neighborhood close to everything! Premium mattresses, top of the line bed linens with extras in the closet. Ample amount of hotel grade towels. There are even extra bath rugs in the linen cabinet. Large flat screen tvs in all of the bedrooms. Game room was an awesome space to hang out and relax ( this room also has a large flat screen tv). Host was very accommodating and considerate. He messaged us each week...

"Perfect property for my family. My husband’s family lives near Dothan and the property was the perfect size with all the amenities of home with even a little backyard. In Dothan everything is 10-15 minutes away and within 5 minutes was a Publix, coffee shop, restaurants, etc. Great place and will book again. "

"Words can not describe this Home and YES I SAY HOME NOT HOUSE! Plenty of room for all ages of our family from elders to small children they have thought of it all. Close to the lake where we enjoyed the 4th of July parade, fireworks and other festivities. The Beds were very comfortable. The 1800s met the 2025s loved how they tried to preserve the original home but also modern for daily living. Master shower was great with the Bluetooth speakers built it!!.We will definitely think of this place...

"A nice getaway just far enough out of town to be quiet but not remote. Plenty of walking area around the property. Dothan is only a few minutes away and has plenty of good food and coffee."

"Great deck, clear water,. could be cleaner inside and out. Bring bug spray -son got a tick on him first 30 min there. Spiders and webs everywhere, blackmold on sinks. Had to clean tub before using. Thanks to the host for bringing kayaks for us which were used the entire time. Thank you. Lake view was amazing. "
