Für 1 Nacht vor der Safari gebucht, war es gut. Allerdings 2 DZ gebucht und wurden in einem Bungalow( mit je 1 Bad) untergebracht. Anlage war schön, Essen sehr gut und Personal sehr nett. Die Unterkunft ist sehr abgelegen, aber sicher.

A short overnight stay close to airport.
Perfect for location by KIA for early flight. Transfer was excellent. Good value.

Very cute little place. It’s like a big compound with 2-3 “houses” and a little garden. Very homely. Great value for the price if you just need a place to stay overnight on your way somewhere else. The staff cooked me fresh meals. WiFi worked great.

The hostess was friendly, flexible, and easy to connect with to arrange transportation for a late night flight. She also presented affordable options for a late checkout to catch an evening flight. We had a great chat and I learned a lot about the area. The space is simple, but had everything that we needed for our brief stay. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained.

Long stay
I was originally only using this location as a layover for my flight at Kilimanjaro airport, it was nearby. But my plans changed, and I had to stay 4 nights. There is nothing to do there and everything is far away. Illene, the manager was great in securing taxis and with suggestions on where to go. Illene and her staff were awesome.

Great, clean, comfortable stay!
This property is very well kept up and beautiful. There are nice flowers, plants and trees all around. The beds were super comfortable with mosquito nets. I also called the hotel and they set up an airport shuttle for me that was very affordable. Everything went really smooth! They can also cook meals upon request. Breakfast is included.

Highly Recommend
Le Parlour has been perfect for our needs. The room and facilities are very clean and comfortable. The staff has been terrific. All of our questions and needs were addressed immediately. We requested a ride from the airport for our very late arrival. The driver was there as promised. The staff was great in getting us settled into our room. They've also been very helpful in arranging further transport. The breakfast was just right. I highly recommend Le Parlour.

It was OK since it was only 1 night
It was a fairly comfortable stay The host was friendly and helpful. The only thing I did not like was that we were sharing a cabin with someone else and they made a lot of noise at midnight when they came in when we had to wake up at 5 am for an early flight. Beds take up the entire room so no space to really walk and there was only half a tissue roll. Internet was very slow but as we only stayed the night it was OK. Dinner was OK and freshly prepared. It's ok if you have a flight to catch the next day as its close to the airport.

Thank you for the review, We are sorry about the tissue but you were free to ask for extra and as for noises at times it’s out of our control especially at awkward hours when it comes to check in and check-out, that is to say even when you left at 5AM you probably did make noises for your neighbors but such situations needs mutual understandings. Very nice hotel for it's price. Really close to the JRO airport. Staff were very very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

Good place to stay.
A great place to stay but I arrived late and left early so didn’t get to enjoy much. Bed was comfy room was small but comfortable. Bathroom was ok. Breakfast was great. Internet worked great.

A bit misleading
I purchased 3 rooms with the (incorrect) assumption (based on the description) that they were all in different bungalows. This was not the case. 2 of the 3 shared an apartment. Had I not been staying with my family member this would have been a very uncomfortable situation. There is a stocked fridge BUT you must pay cash for the items in it - so make sure you bring cash with you. It's also very difficult to find so try to go during the daylight hours. The beds are comfy, the living room chairs are comfy and they beer selection is nice.

Van ophalen van de luchthaven en weer terug een feestje. Hartelijk ontvangst zowel op de luchthaven als bij accommodatie. Zalig en heerlijk groot bed. Water. Koelkast gevuld met bier en frisdranken nog meer water. Dit tegen betaling maar keurige prijzen. Ontbijt is een geweldige start van de dag. Heerlijke pannenkoeken en fruit, brood eieren. Verse juice. En de meest gastvrije kokkin die ik ooit heb mogen ontmoeten.

Bungalow complex
Great bungalow with a kitchenette. Excellent breakfast and great dinner. Small beers in the fridge are a bit costly. Take a tuk tuk to town and enjoy local life.

Little piece of Paradise.
We were certainly impressed with the accommodations provided by Le Parlour. It is a very charming set of apartments. Very simple and adequate. Aileen was in charge and welcomed us to the property. She also served us a very nice Breakfast in the morning. We met several other travelers while there. We most certainly will stay here again.

Highly recommended!
The grounds and the cabins were very clean and comfortable. The grounds are pretty and relaxing. The staff were very hospitable. The refrigerator was filled with all the kinds of drinks you could want. The dinner I ordered in the dining room was absolutely wonderful. A great memory as my last meal in Tanzania. They drove me to the airport for $20 and made very good time. Less than 15 minutes. Highly recommended.

Stayed only one night, arriving late but the attentive staff was very welcoming and friendly. We had problem with WiFi so were recommended to use other networks and areas to get the best connection. The home made meals were delicious. Definitely would recommend the place. Not far away from the Kilimanjaro airport.

I was there only for one night. In between flights but what I was able to see of the property looked good. I would like to highlight that we arrived late and it was raining a lot and they had taken care of our transportation from and to airport for a very reasonable price and they made sure we made it to our rooms quick and dry. I really appreciated the service quality.

Excellent value! We stayed here when our flight got in late (11pm) and left at 4pm the next day. Communication was fantastic about pick up/drop off/late check out. The owner even made us a great homecooked lunch the next day, since we stayed a few extra hours. The property is apartment style, so you might share the living space with other visitors although everyone gets their own room/bathroom with a lock. The property looks fairly new and is kept in great condition/cleanliness. The shower pressure is great. The wifi is pretty strong if you stay within your unit. If you're just looking for a place to stay in between flights, this is absolutely perfect. The only things we would recommend are fixing the AC unit (ours kept turning off - however a fan was provided so this was not an issue) and maybe providing some shampoo/conditioner (soap and toothpaste were provided)

The property and the hosts were excellent. They paid attention to detail and took care of every single need I had. Definitely recommend this place to everyone. It’s only 2 years old so the property is new and very close to the Kilimanjaro airport.

Sehr nette Gastgeber, verlässlich und Orientiert am Gast. Sehr empfehlenswerte Pension in ruhiger, schöner Lage. Vom Garten aus kann man den Kilimanjaro sehen, wenn keine Wolken ihn verdecken. Ca. 20 min PKW zum Flughafen. Internet klappte leider nur eingeschränkt, was auch an meinem Virenschutzprogramm liegen kann.

Highly recommend
My friend and I stayed here the night before our flights out of Kilimanjaro. We arrived very late at night after our car had broken down. They were so welcoming and helpful, able to direct the driver over the phone when he was unable to find the entrance. Everything was clean and comfortable and breakfast in the morning was great!

A Very Warm Welcome Awaits
The welcome from Aileen was one of the warmest I have received in all of my years of travelling. Due to a change in itinerary I arrived ahead of my family and several hours before the check-in time. This was no problem and I this level of care continued for our stay. The meals cooked by Angela were delicious and we all enjoyed the hearty breakfast before departing on our safari. I hope we have the opportunity to revisit and experience the wonderful hospitality again. Thank you so much.

Property was clean and really comfortable and staff really helpful and friendly. One surprise, which took from the experience, was that another guest moved into bedroom 2. We had no prior knowledge of this and other guest did not know he was sharing either. This property is described as a 'hotel' on Expedia. One does not expect to be sharing living accommodation in a hotel!

Lovely! Hosts were so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great. Room and lounge were very clean. Close to the airport but in a quiet area so you could get a good night's rest. Would definitely stay again.
