"Nice accommodations. The location is very convenient to town; however there are some hills involved if you’re walking. Parking in town was easy and available. "

Me, my husband, and small dog spent hours on the deck, people watching, admiring the butterflies and the scenery, and drinking local wine from the cute store across the street. Just a minute's walk to restaurants and a cafe, with an amazing ice cream shop down the steps. The house was clean and the beds were super comfortable. Highly recommend. "

The kids enjoyed the game room, the beds were very comfortable and the property is up from the street with lots of privacy. We enjoyed tubing down the Shenandoah river and had a fun family dinner in Harper's Ferry - such a charming town!The hosts were quick to respond and super helpful with any questions we had. "

"The house is beautiful and has all the appliances you could ever use. It had coffee and filters stocked in the pantry. Sheets and towels were high quality. There is a 50 charge to use the hot tub which was not stated in the description. The road coming into the property is very steep and luckily my SUV had 4 wheel drive for easy access."

"No need to look any further! Beautiful, clean,historic home in a perfect location. Close to wineries, breweries, Shenandoah River, hiking and only 45 minutes from DC. The host was very accommodating and friendly as well. We would highly recommend this home for you and your family. "

"It was a great stay. No complaints! Great communication with the hosts before and during our stay. Very clean and just like the photos. The only comments not entirely positive (but worth noting because it was one of my deciding factors in booking this property) is that the hot tub was not clean enough for us to be comfortable using (it is in the woods and may have been pollen coming through the screens—but it was covered) and I think one of the queen sized mattresses does need to be replaced in...

"We had nice pleasant stay at the River Front Retreat. Everything was provided to make the stay comfortable. Property was friendly and was fast and easy to contact. I highly recommend the place for a relaxing getaway. "
