Would have appreciated a print out of the house and area information so everyone could easily review it and the lack of supplied firewood was a surprise to everyone.Nice hikes and parks nearby, a day at Harper's Ferry Park was really nice, thanks to the Governor of West Virginia the Welcome Center was staffed and so helpful."

"The house is private, modern and spacious with all of the necessary amenities and had a really well equipped kitchen for cooking in. There is a lovely little hiking trail just down the hill from the house and Harper's Ferry is not far and has countless outdoor activities- (including a brand new bungee jumping site) and lots of great place to eat.The River Country Store is even closer and is a great little stop to pick up food basics and gifts. "We were delighted with this peaceful home with a gorgeous view of the Potomac River. An added surprise was to find a small fenced in yard for our dog. The dining table was huge and accommodated our family dinner needs. Kitchen well appointed if you plan to cook.The host was just a text message away/ and no problems with passcode for door."
