"This is located in downtown Staunton and it’s a great location. The parking is shared with other businesses and residences and can be challenging if arriving in the evening.
This is not a place for anyone with mobility issues. Lots of stairs.
The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The tv was small and in a sitting room with two less than ideal chairs. There was no ice available. The HVAC worked well. The WiFi did not.

"Nice and charming hotel from back in the days. Whats not to like about sitting on the front porch, in a rocking chair, with a beer or a glass off wine.
The interior is ol’ school and again charming.
The room was very nice and with AC.
The breakfast room was nice and clean and breakfast was really good and so was the coffee.
Hotel is just a short walk from downtown Hendersonville, with cosy shops, good dining and a cigarbar.
It was a very nice visit and stay at 1898 Waverly Inn."

"Clean and beautiful property nestled in the mountains. Quick and easy check in. The Hotel is over 100 years old so the floors are very creaky and the walls are paper thin and non insulated so you can hear conversations of everyone in the next room. The toilet clogged up and we didn’t even use it and started running all over the floor. Breakfast was ok for a continental breakfast but nothing special. Overall would stay again for 1 or two nights at most though while visiting that area."

"B&B’s are pretty much the same. This one is different. The breakfast was delicious, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and everything was well thought out. The difference? Jenny and John. Some of the friendliest and gracious people we have ever met.We felt at home as soon as we arrived. This is the kind of place you tell your friends about. We wanted to return as soon as we got home. We’ll be back!"
