A wall of windows frames the long-range views, and double doors open onto the deck, where Adirondack rockers invite you to sit back and savor the 50-mile mountain backdrop. The kitchen is a chef's delight, outfitted with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a gas stove with a griddle — perfect for making a hearty breakfast before a day of adventure. Gather around the dining table for six, with an additional table nearby offering seating for four more.

When it's time to unwind, Cardinal's View Lodge offers three comfortable bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom. The main-level primary suite features a King bed and a private bath with a walk-in shower and double vanities. Down the hall, you'll find a King bedroom with a full bathroom conveniently located just across the hallway. Upstairs is a spacious family-friendly suite with a Queen bed and two sets of Full-over-Twin bunk beds — the ideal setup for kids or group travelers — plus a private bath.

Step outside and explore the thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces. Roast marshmallows around the massive stone fire pit, share a meal at the picnic table, or sway gently in the swing while gazing out over the ridgeline. Rustic steps lead into the surrounding woods, perfect for a peaceful forest stroll. Tucked along scenic Highway 221 — affectionately known as "The Little Parkway" — Cardinal's View feels worlds away while being just a 15-minute drive to downtown Blowing Rock. You'll also be within easy reach of Linville, Banner Elk, and Newland, making it a central hub for mountain adventures.

Cardinal's View is pet-friendly with an additional fee, so you can bring your furry companion along for the adventure. Stay connected with high-speed Wi-Fi powered by Starlink, and enjoy your favorite shows on Dish Network TV. Please note that 4WD or AWD vehicles are strongly recommended during winter months, as mountain weather can change quickly. There is one camera located on the porch capturing the driveway and garage area.
