"The hotel is in a perfect location for walking to the pedestrian areas with restaurants and shops. We paid extra to stay in a one bedroom unit that has a private patio with a hot tub and the suite was great. However, there were many issues that came up that could have been avoided if the staff took the time to help us with our luggage and show us to our room. We had trouble with opening the doors as they stuck and the key was difficult to use. The coffee machine needed to be replaced and the AC...

"A big recommendation for this charming and cozy hotel. The historic style is very well maintained. We stayed in room 1 on the ground floor, which was perfect for two adults and one teenager. It was lovely to have a small seating area in the room, where we enjoyed playing a board game. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice and spacious. There is parking available in the courtyard. The staff were very helpful, providing great recommendations for excellent restaurants and...

"We loved our stay in this beautiful chateau which is very good value for money. The breakfast is a bit expensive compared to the value, 18€ pr. Person pr. Day, but since the castle is located in a beautiful rural area, we didn’t have other options, so we enjoyed the hotel-breakfast. The restaurants is also slightly expensive. We would have eaten there more if there was an option to choose one main course, and not three courses. Some parts could use renovation/modifications, and the pool could...

"Lovely stay. Lovely staff. Do ring ahead if you need a child bed, since they do run out. If the weather agrees, the pool is spectacular. It also has its own microkitchen where you can put your own cold drinks. Rooms were charming, perhaps the bathroom fixtures could be improved/fixed. Breakfast was just right, perhaps a bit overpriced."

"Excellent place to stay in Loire Valley! Definitely will return for the lovely breakfasts, accommodation and service!!!"

"Small hotel room, great locatio.. Everything is walking distance. Amboise is beautiful. Keep expectations realistic, and you'll be happy."

"It was okay. The room was fine but the toilet had no sink so you had to go to a separate bathroom to was hands. Also the air conditioning was super loud and kept you awake. The hotel and the surrounding did not really look like the pictures. The pool was small and uncomfortably warm because it was in a glass cabinet. I’m sure it would have been nicer on a more cool day. Overall happy we had only booked one night but okay for a short stay."
