Just did the one night. Staff very helpful and courteous . Room clean and tidy and warm. All room services were working as they should. Recommended.

Very nice and convenient place. The room is spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet is quite rich, well, definitely not cheap either. One thing needed to note, the bed is too soft. Someone likes it but not my type since my back can’t handle it.

Great hotel to enjoy Marlborough Sounds area
Hotel had a fresh, updated ambiance and rooms were comfortable and well equipped. Location was great with easy access to restaurants and local sights. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. We all enjoyed the well stocked continental breakfast buffet. Would recommend this hotel to enjoy Blenheim and the Marlborough Sounds area.

The hotel was clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and a convenient location near the center of town. However, we were disappointed to find out that the pool was out of order for the duration of our stay, despite having booked specifically for this facility. Although we understand that these things happen, we would have appreciated being informed about the issue before checking in and paying. Given that we paid a premium for the hotel facility that we couldn’t use, a partial refund would have been appreciated. On the bright side, the spa and sauna were operational, and we enjoyed using them.

Overnight stay
We chose the Scenic because of its location and the benefits for staying there. Our room was in very good order and tidy. The restaurant was run very well and the food was good. Breakfast was a buffet and was pretty standard for that type of set up. We will stay here again. Thanks.

I ordered 2 rooms for 4 people we had my Aunty who wheelchair dependant, perfect book in place to accommodate her ❤️loved how rooms weren’t to far apart, the beds were comfy, extremely loved the pool, spa and sauna, What would I change ? NOTHING ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT !!

Very clean and spacious. Restaurant was good. Only concern was that the additional parking was at the church across from the hotel, which didnt seem very safe.

Really enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights. Warm and clean rooms and so easy to walk everywhere. Disappointed to go to breakfast at 9.30am on the Sunday (breakfast was suppose to be available until 10am) to find buffet had been packed up, and chef grumbling and shouting at staff when they asked him to make something. Otherwise very accomodating staff allowing us to order in the bar just before they are due to close so we could finish a lovely evening. Highlight for me was the food at the restaurant- we dined twice during our stay, and invited guests. Food was delicious, well presented and would definitely recommend.

I recently stayed at Scenic Hotel Marlborough and was happy with the experience. Everything was top-notch, from the warm and welcoming staff to the clean and comfortable rooms. Nice property. Good central location. Easy walk to everything. Well presented and well maintained room. Full size seat at the base of the bed that can accommodate two large suitcases. Great shower too. Blockout blinds work well. Only a couple of minor negatives, could find recycling anywhere on the property, TV picture quality wasn't too good and finally the dining options looked great but appeared to be more for the business traveler. As a tourist it was a cheaper option to walk into town for a meal and a drink. Only minor things but would happily stay again. Reception staff were very helpful.

Nice property in a good location. The on site parking was nice as we were visiting the wineries. Easy walk to the local restaurants.

The staff was attentive and helpful to my every need, whether it was a power cord or directions. The location adjacent to the CBD was great for walking to shopping and dining yet a quiet refuge.
