Lovely peaceful hideaway
Very nice and clean accommodation, situated away from the town centre. Relaxing setting amongst the vines. Most necessities were there and a heater would have been perfect in the lounge area as the weather got a bit cooler in the evenings. No issues with check-in/out process and owners were responsive and accommodating. Overall, a great weekend enjoying what the region had to offer.

Beautiful location and house
Absolutely incredible location right on a vineyard. Really enjoyed the house, it was super peaceful and had everything you’d need for a few days in the wine country. Loved it, thank you David. David was also super helpful for us.

A great 2 night stay
Spacious house, completely separate from the owners. Beautiful views of vineyard. We made use of the kitchen and laundry and everything worked great. When we booked, we asked about the possibility of arranging bikes but the owner never responded. When we checked in, they were confused about our arrival date (they thought we were arriving the following day) but it didn't actually matter since the place was entirely clean and ready (luckily).

Lovely stay
Excellent stay at the barn. Super clean with everything we needed nice and close to town but feels like your miles away looking out into the vines.

Peaceful location
Comfortable, well-appointed space. Enjoyed a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc on the sunny patio. Although about 10 minutes from town, our tour operator, Discovery Wine Tours came out to pick us up and drop us off.

Cozy and Quite
We opted for a bit of quite out of town and weren't dissapointed. It was a lovely peaceful stay even if only for a couple of nights. Thanks to our hosts for helping out when we couldn't figure out the cook top.

Rural retreat
This property is located in a section of a new barn style building on the edge of the owners property right beside their vineyard. It is spacious and comfortable with nice outside seating. The owners were helpful and communicative. A car is essential for exploring the area.

Restful stay in Blenheim wine land.
Beautiful property in a secluded and safe setting in the vineyards. Great for walks on the all but deserted roads, listening to the birdsong. A short car trip to supermarket and restaurants. One has to look far and wide for such a peaceful setting. A credit to the successful hosts Sandra and David. Excellent !

Nicely presented, cosy, with good amenities available. Washing machine, drier, dishwasher, Microwave etc. Nice rustic vibe nestled in the vineyards yet only minutes from the township. Would definitely come back to stay again.

Private and peaceful
Although a little bit of a drive from any shops etc, the setting of this property is lovely. We found the 'barn" roomy and the facilities were great. The bathroom was spacious and very modern. A great outlook made our stay very enjoyable.

Wonderful property
We had a fabulous stay. This is a very well provisioned property with stunning evening views to watch the sunset with a wine. The hosts are very friendly as is their lovely dog. We would love to stay again.

Covid meant couldn’t go
In the lead up to the stay excellent communication. On the morning we were due to depart and checkin my son test positive for covid, we live in Wellington so meant we could not go. Hoping David may be able to refund a portion but also understand couldn’t rebook at such short notice and cancellation fees apply. Very sad not to have been with family in blenheim

Quality and beautiful location
The Barn is a beautifully fitted-out unit. It shares half the total building with a real barn. The interior fit out is quality- underfloor heating, cozy carpet, lovely tapware. The deck was a great place for an al fresco dinner. Dave was very easy to communicate with and the location easy to find. SO peaceful and Doogie the dog was on hand for a friendly welcome. No reliable internet but as long as you’re prepared for that it’s no big deal. Good Vodafone reception. Highly recommend!

Truly beautiful location. So peaceful & friendly.
Great location. Peaceful, relaxing, close enough to Blenheim, but far enough out not to have too much noise. Everything thing you could need or want is supplied. Lovely indoor, outdoor flow. Family that own it are great. We will differently go back
