"This is a wonderful lil piece of heaven under the stars tucked up a lil Hollar road. Decor was new and very nice. Everyone was friendly and very nice to help anyway. "It was amazing. If you are looking for a place with scenic views look no further! Absolutely stunning to walk around the deck and enjoy the blue ridge mountains. However, I would HIGHLY recommend a 4WD. Don’t make the mistake we made and think “oh well, I am a good driver it shouldn’t be an issue”… chances of someone getting up the last few hundred feet with a fully loaded front wheel drive are very slim!! Anyways, it’s great to disconnect while at the same time you have everything you need...

"This was a sweet house. Very clean, with lots of places to sit outside. Unfortunately for us, we did not have good weather, so we were restricted to indoors. Anyone thinking of renting should be warned that there is a single bath on the 1st floor, with 2 bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen is small - with a single small table and only 2 chairs, so, meals were around the couch. the kitchen is small, but well for incidentals like spices. We contacted the owners for information, and they responded...

"I took my elderly mother and niece to SW VA for a wedding weekend. Everyone loved the house, the backyard, and the quiet neighborhood. The owners did a great job thinking about extra touches such as kleenex, nightlights, etc. The house and property were amazing. And after I realized I had forgotten shampoo and shower soap, Wal-Mart was conveniently only 20 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again."

"This home is great for a peaceful get-away. With the exception of one other home nearby, it's almost on its own, so it's quiet enough to enjoy the sounds of nature. A short drive took us down through a neighborhood to sit by the lake. Back at the house, it was nice to end evenings watching the bright stars from the porch. Sherry was very responsive and friendly when we had questions."

"The outdoor space on this property is stunning. There is a lot of outdoor space to entertain and the views are so pretty. Would be amazing for a summer party. The inside was very musty when we first got there and we had to go out and get candles to chase away the smell. By the next day it was pretty much gone so I’m thinking it just hadn’t been used in a while."
